Man Meditation Guyan Mudra

Also known as the Mother of All Healing, Ayurveda is the oldest science of life. Its history dates back to 5000 years ago. Ayurveda focuses on the three major types of functions that are present in all living organisms. Since no English words originate from these three principles, people often use the Sanskrit terms i.e., Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. These three Ayurveda principles are associated with the human body and its functioning.

Our body needs the energy to facilitate the movement of the essential nutrients to the cells. These nutrients help our body function. Vata is known as the energy of motion. Everyone has all three forms of energy that keep us alive. However, not all of us have a balanced amount of these three main elements. That’s the reason why the human body tends to develop diseases. According to the Ayurveda study, it is believed that the primary cause of disease is the deficiency or excess of the energy forms in our body. In this post, we are going to discuss Ayurveda Vata Dosha.

Ayurveda Vata Dosha Explanation

Vata is one of the most crucial elements of Ayurveda. It helps promote movements. The common qualities of Vata are light, subtle, dry, mobile, and cold. This natural principle of Ayurveda is likely to be most prominent in certain seasons, especially during fall. Now, this is the time when you are supposed to watch your diet and lifestyle. The main reason you need to manage your lifestyle is to bring stability to the energy of movement. People need to set a proper routine and stick to a healthy and nutritious diet to stabilize Vata. To control and stabilize Vata in your body, you are going to need to follow a routine.

The Vata predominant people have a creative and flexible mind. They tend to make smart decisions and grasp new concepts quite quickly. As much as creative and quick their mind is, these people tend to forget things faster than others. These people are always alert and extremely active. They have the ability to think, move, walk, and perform all other basic activities fast. However, they also get tired easily. Their willpower and self-esteem are relatively low as compared to others. Additionally, these people tend to get anxious, nervous and stressed quickly. They are likely to face economic struggles because Vata predominant has the habit of earning money and spending it all quickly.

The digestion, metabolism, and appetite of Vata predominant are quite uneven. They like to eat raw veggies and salad. The principle Vata lives in human joints, ears, colon, thighs, and skin. These people are more likely to develop diseases related to air principle. The examples are pneumonia, arthritis, pain in the joints, constipation, dry hair and skin, mental issues, nerve disorders, and emphysema. The nerve disorder is possible in people with an excess level of Vata. Some of the common factors that disturb and unbalance Vata in your body include cold liquid and food, drugs, and loud noises.
